2001 Chevy Monte Carlo car doesnt start it seems only in ho

Well recently my 01 chevy monte carlo started acting up first with the security light turning on while I was driving now not wanting to start in both cold and hot weather mainly hot what could I do to solve this problem?

Most likely you need to replace your ignition cylinder and switch, very common on this vehicle.
