Engine dies out after cold start.I thought I was out of gas at frist so I put some in like $10 worth, just to learn the car took me a block before it die out which I ended up getting a tow. Naver had this problem before, now what I dont understand is, if it was the fuel pump why would it run at less 5 or 10min before it dies out?

You would need to determine the source of the concern. I would start by checking the fuel pressure should be 40 to 50 psi when running. If the pressure drops off while driving I would replace the fuel pump.
