1995 Chevy Monte Carlo 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

my car tries to over heat. Theres antifreeze in it. It blows out air then cold air this is when it tries to over heat. What do u think the problem can be?

What it sounds like is that there is a blockage in the system. Drain the system, then back flush it. That includes flushing the heater core the engine and the radiator. Then with just the water in it start the car and check if to see if you have heat. If everything is ok the drain the system and refill with mixture of anti freeze and water. You might want to rteplace the thermastat before refilling the system
