1995 Chevy Monte Carlo heater blowing cold air

1995 Chevy Monte Carlo 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

Our 1995 Monte Carlo recently quit blowing hot air. The fans blow cold air.
We replaced the thermostat & it didn't help. Any ideas?

Had the same problem with a 1996. Flushed the system and still didn't help so we disconnected the heater core hose( the upper and lower from the core itself on the firewall) and used compressed air to blow out the core. Filled the system up, purged the air out while it was circulating and all is good. Hope this helps.

Step 1 - A heater cannot operate unless the engine is full of coolant/antifreeze. If coolant level is low check the system for leaks.
