i need answer asap please. The car has 2b quadrajet carb on the 350sb. What happens is when I step on the brake, the cars rpm drop, then while stepping on the brake I put it in gear and the car cuts off, I know the problem could be very bad vaccum leak but could bad brake boost also be the problem, or what could I be looking at fixing here? Please help

If it happens when you use the brakes, the first thing I would do is run a vacuum test on the booster and check the vacuum hose going from the engine to the booster.

Let me know what you find.
