2004 Chevy Malibu A/C blowing hot air

Air Conditioning problem
2004 Chevy Malibu Automatic 39000 miles

My a/c is not working, blowing hot air. I purchased 134a air conditioning kit but can not locate the lower pressure hose on my 2004 chevy malibu classic.

Please help

Follow the ac lines off the compressor and find the valve that your kit connects to. It may be by the reciever dryer.

Assuming its in the same place as my 2002 Malibu, the low pressure valve is located by the firewall just slightly left of center when facing the car. It should be about 12 or 14 inches down. It should have a blue cap on it.
