2003 chevy malibu won't crank. Drove around about 30 minutes, came home got ready to leave 15 min later wouldn't crank. All lights and radio on, no theft system issue. Simply quiet. Some reason passenger rear door was open, closed it. Closed driver door turned key. Car started. Drove around 45 mins to an hour stopped at five or six places, got in car started. Got gas drove about 26 miles parked car sit for about 30 min left, engine started. Went about 1/2 mile came back turned off car. Waited about 10 mins. Tried to start again, no sound. Slammed all doors. Don't know why. Turned key, car started. Drove 2 miles to food spot parked, turned off car, tried to turn right back on, wouldn't start, no sound nothing. Hasn't started since. Could this be the starter or fuel pump? HELP

Sounds like a starter motor issue. Try tapping the starter motor with a hammer and checking wiring. Or replace starter motor
