I try to start the car and it will crank, but wont give no gas, then when I start to crank it up after a few times then it just stalls, but the interior and exterior lights and gadgets will come on. I had the fuel filter replaced, and the alternator is still good. I even had a mechanic fix the problem before but he dont know what he did, all he said that he moved some stuff around

Check the computer for codes, this sounds like an anti-theft issue. If codes for the anti theft exist, try another key before going further.

You can buy a scanner at a parts store, autozone may read them for you, a shop can read them, but will charge.
