GM vehicles are notorious for having ignition anti-theft system problems. Is your anti-theft light blinking? Even if not, here's an easy method to check. Put in key and turn to ACC, then leave car alone for over 10 minutes. During this time, the computer will relearn the chip in your key. After 12 minutes, turn ignition to off and then try to start. If it starts right up, then your problem is the anti-theft system. It may happen again, but then you just have to wait with the key in ACC and do it over again. Check that out.
