After I bought my car it started surging and soon after that it would occasionally stall/die while I was backing up. After it dies I put it in neutral and start it back up and then the power steering would start making loud noises as I turned. And now the surging has gotten worse to the point that it sometimes stalls in the middle of the road. With winter coming up I really want to fix my problems. Any help?

Start looking if its in need for a tune up
Also look for a vacuum leaks
Do you have check engine light on
If so get the code let me know
