When braking the brake lights don't light, tho the third eye does. The turn signals also work. I've replaced the bulbs but they still won't come on for braking. Any ideas?

Check for 12V at the connector with the brake depressed.
If no power, check fuse and brake switch on brake pedal arm.

This is a common problem with the lumina. In the steering column there is the turn signal switch. The brake lights are actually wired through this switch for the cruise control so that when you touch the brakes the cruise will shut down. If you pull back on your directional signal a tad and depress your brake pedal you will probably see the lights come on. This is a sure sign that this is the problem. Need to pull the steering wheel to get at the switch.
