I was told my car has a bad oxygen sensor but how can I find out which one it is and their locations so that I can change them out. Also would this cause a misfire in my engin?

A scan tool will usually tell you which one is bad (upstream or downstream).

Upstream is located in exhaust in front of convertor and downstream is located in exhaust after convertor.
