Last 30K miles car runs good unless humid or raining.
Can drive about 4 miles b4 it happens then barely make 30 mph but idle is smooth. Turn off wait 30 min, can then drive all day hundreds of miles even in rain. ODB1, no codes, Just passed 4 gas w new converter, 27/20 mpg has allways ran well after waiting. New 02, map, knock module, plugs wires coilpack ignitor cts, air fuel filter, temp gage sensor, air temp sensor. Crank p/u, fuel press same w/wo problem 40psi, 35 reg unplugged 70 return pinched. Cleaned tb and egr, seems like something resets after 30 min. Seems prob in open to closed loop transition when humid or wet. Replacement cts bad? Sounds like on rev limiter when u rev it up.

It sounds like there is a problem in the PCM. Is this only on a cold start? You mentioned going into 'closed loop'. This happens when the o2 sensors heat up. Is this about the time that happens? From what I read, it sounds like a PCM problem. Have you looked at the MAF sensor?

Happens on first start of the day even if thats early afternoon. No MAF on this model, also new tps. Thought about getting dealer part for cts. Heard it may also be cts wiring but hard to check. Don't understand what resets after 30 mins. Motor is still warm. Also found chaffed wires to VSS and fixed them, no change.
Was in a hurry one am and tried to force it to warm up faster by high idle, right below where it breaks up. After a few minutes I smelled smoke, looked under the car and the cat was glowing orange. Since changed and won;t do that again this started out only on rainy days now its on humid or rainy days. Air temp seems not related, just changed pcm, no change. Bought new ECM to try, no change.
