1995 Chevy Lumina Battery

I just bought a 95 chevy lumina and on my way home the car just cut off, I was checking the battery because the guy that sold it to me put it in himself and when I moved it it started but when I let it go it cut off again. Is there something wrong with the battery or is there a possible short somewhere.

May be loose connections. Ensure battery cables are clean and tightened properly at the battery terminals as well as the alternator and starter connections.

Ive looked where I could connections seem ok but ive started it everyday for the last 2 days and its started right up, is the bracket not being on the battery affecting it, maybe it moves when I drive not sure.
