My daughters 1991 chevy lumina z34 starts ice cold.
after driving she will shut it off wait 10 minutes and it wont start. Wait over 1 hour then it starts. Mechanic
changed coil, mat sensor, crank sensor. And egr valve, same result. Fuel pump holds a solid 50 lbs of pressure. We are thinking about changing the fuel pump. This is crazy. Please help

If it has a cam sensor I would try that. Has it been verified that it has fuel/spark when it wont start? That could be an ignition module shorting out when hot, many different things. Will it stay running if you let it idle, and only wont start if you shut it off?

Everything you asked about has been changed,
still wont start after it runs, turned off, sit for a bit then restarted. We have to wait almost 2 hrs to restart.

So, have you checked for fuel and spark to see what is missing when it wont start?
