Tire wear on the front

It still sounds like an alignment issue. I would take it to a different shop to have the alignment checked. If it's still out have them align it and make a complaint to the previous shop and request that they reimburse you. Just make sure that the other shop makes sure that all the steering and suspension is tight and free from any play. Loose parts can cause tire wear also.
