O2 sensor [post catylitic converter] for a 2001 truck

I have a code [po160 post cat.] That comes up. I replaced the sensor and the code came back. I then replaced the catylitic converter and the code came back again. The truck has 94000 miles with a 5.3 liter. I'm out of anwsers, does anyone have a suggestion?

Did you put a OBD2 compliant cat on it?

I am not sure if it was obd2 compliant. I asked the owner of a local muffler shop if it would work on that year of truck. He did say it was an universal type, which was a concern of mine. I will call him and find out what brand or make it is and do some more research on the type he put in. Thanks again for the reply.
