I have recently noticed a "clunking" noise when I make a turn. It seems to be more pronounced when I make a right-hand turn. It is getting worse quite quickly. The car is still under the 7 year/100,000 mi drive train warranty. What might the problem be and do you think it is covered under the drive train warranty?

Note: I had the exact same thing happen to a previous GM car (2003 Alero). That car developed the problem at 65,000 miles and it did not have the 7 yr/100,000 mi warranty coverage (it was 3/36,000)

The most common front end noise from these types of vehicles is the intermediate steering shaft. This shaft connects between the steering column and the rack and pinion. If it is the steering shaft causing the noise. The dealer will most likely warranty it, because its a common problem
