A few weeks back my car a the sudden did not start. The lights wrere all working and the fuel pump was running. But when I went to start it would not even try to turn over. I had no problem previuosly.I had it jumped off and it started at a high rev from the other car. So I went to the parts store and bought a battery. The proplem went away for 4 weeks and now it has stared again. If the car is cooled down it will start right up. When it does not want to start it never even trys to turn over. I had the battery and alternated tested at the parts store and they are good. What parts would cause this? Could the Coil Modulator going bad couse the car to not even try to turn over?

When this happends make sure there is voltage at the solenoid wire on the starter. Do the head lights work when it doesnt start.

Yes everything else is working fine lights, radio, ect. Now over the last 2 days the car is starting fine agai hot or cold. This is an odd one for me. I have not been able to track a short or find a loose connection in the ignition system as of yet. But I would assume by now a short would not only acur when the car has ran. It has only not started when hot so far this time. The first time this happend when I rplaced the battery it happend cold or hot.
