2001 Chevy Impala Car won't start

When I try to turn my car over all I hear is a clicking noise. All the electrical works it just won't turn over. Could it be my starter? Please Help I don't have a lot of money and have to do the repairs mysef.

When key on is your security light on and flashing
if so
turn key to on and leave it for 10 min
untill light stop blinking turn key off and try to start.
Also put it in neutral and try to start
and if all ok and you may need a starter
its so so to do
