2000 Chevy Impala Error Message

My 2000 impala was sitting for about 2 weeks. When I went to start it, it started clicking and finally kicked over. But when I got it running, the radio was displaying the word Error and you can not turn the radio on. I am thinking the battery is bad but would that cause the Error message to come on?

Possibly when you had trouble starting the car a logic lock up happened in the radio. You could try disconnecting the power just to the radio for 30 seconds or take it to a dealer who can reset the radio with a tech 2 scan tool
