1963 Chevy Impala Tumbler in the ignition switch

1963 Chevy Impala V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic? Miles

I need to know how to take the existing tumbler out of my ignition switch I see that it has a small hole right next to the key hole so I poked a small wire and tied to take the tumbler out but it wouldn't budge.

If you mean the ignition cylinder key then you have to remove the steering wheel similar to this

The problem with that is in a 1963 impala the ignition switch is in the dash not on the steering colum.
