My key won't turn in the ignition, wheel not locked, nothing else is wrong but the key won't turn. And while trying to force the key to turn I broke the key inside of the ignition. Please help I'm not sure which part to buy I know it's somewhere between an ignition switch to an ignition tumbler just not sure which one. Also before it stopped turning I would have to jiggle the key around for a minute before it would finally turn, then one day it just didn't turn anymore.

Is there anyway you can use some tweasers or pliers to remove the key? Also was the only key you had for the car?Sounds like the key was worn out or the ignition cylinder was binding up. Have to ask these questions so I can know the next steps to tell you to do

Your going to need a new a ignition cylinder thats for sure if memory serves right you can drill out the detent pin on the back side of the cylinder to get the old one out.I will have to look it up and iam at work right now.I would also try rock auto dot com and see what they get for them.
