I am restoring some interior parts on this car. While replacing the face plate and lens, a part that is washer like with star shaped edges that are curved fell off the bottom of the control assembly. When I run the ac, vent, and heater controls, I only am getting air from the lower part of the car. Nothing from any of the dash vents. I am sure this missing peice has something to do with the problem. Do you have a diagram that you could send me showing the location of the part? I am stumped!! Your help is greatly appreciated.

Hi
That is part of the vacumn master select switch. Pull out heater Ac controler find vacumn switch has a clear plug with svseral hyoses. Remove hoses that part holds vacumn pod together. @$8 dollar part. Replace and it will start working again.
Hope this helps

Found all the hoses you were talking about. Looks like that attatches to the control unit with 2 screws. That peice had already came off. I am still puzzled as to where this part goes. Could you send me a drawing or schematic on the breakdown of all this? I'm sure it would help me get it all back together. Thankk you!

It can't be fixed replace @$8 if you put hose piece on the part that is on selector the star piece fits over the round boss. Which may have broken off usually how they die.
