I went to start vette today and took a long time to turn over and when it finally did, it sounded like it wasn't getting enough gas. I began backing it out of my driveway and it stalled. Waited for a few minutes and tried to go forward. Again, not full power and not enough gas and stalled. When idling I noticed that the RMP gauge was not moving, even when I was pumping pedal. Had a new fuel pump installed couple of years ago - 500 miles on it. Any help greatly appreciated.

Hmm. First of all the tach in that car is mechanically drive off the distributor. If the dist wasnt turning the engine wouldnt run at all, probably 2 different problems. How long has it been sitting since last driven? It could have a sticky choke or a needle and seat in the carb that is stuck, not letting fuel into the carb. Remove the air cleaner and see if the choke plate is stuck shut. WOW a 67 with only 85k. Nice ride what engine?
