Smells problem
1993 Chevy Corsica 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

My car shuts off when I drive. It hasn't happened until after some snowy weather. I recently had my fuel pressure regulator and e.G.R. Fixed. I think my catalytic converter is clogged. So I'm not too sure what could be wrong. After I'm driving for a couple miles the car will just shut off and won't start until it has sat for a few minutes. It sounds like it wants to start it just won't.

Hi:
It may be the fuel pump. You should have the fuel pump pressure tested. Also, you can test the converter for too much back pressure by renting a gauge and removing the o2 sensors and checking.

Let me know if you have other questions.
