1989 Chevy Corsica 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

i have a 1989 chevy corsica threw in a new battery it was starting before I replaced the old battery with the new, and now it wont start it has spark the fuel pump works everything works it acts like it wants to start but wont. Any sugguestions

Hi:
Check to make sure you have good fuel pressure. Also, do you have a good hot (blue) spark?

It turns out that my crankshaft position senser went out. Replaced that and now it works fine. The battery was just a coinceidence
