2005 Chevy Colorado Four Wheel Drive Automatic 75,000 miles

2005 Chevy Colorado L5 engine with automatic transmission

Can make a short trip, shut the vehicle off and will not restart. It has done this about 6 times over the past 2 months. I let the vehicle sit for about :15 and it starts fine. The engine turns over just fine. It just won’t fire. I changed the fuel filter 1200 miles ago and it did the same thing 2 days ago.

You need to check if it's getting fuel or not as well as spark. I would suspect low fuel pressure. Also clean your throttle plate with choke cleaner. Also run a scanner on this to see if it is setting any codes.
