2004 Chevy Colorado Four Wheel Drive Automaticl 78000 miles

I have a 04 Chevy colorado 4 wheel drive straight 5. When I turn on the heater it smells like antifreeze and leaves a residue on the windshield inside. I have not noticed any leaks on the floorboard or anywhere else.

99% of the time when you smell antifreeze your heater core is leaking. It doesn't have to make the floor wet... That is another symptom... It can be leaking enough to smell, keep the vent area wet but not leak on the floor.

It needs replacing
