The truck won't start, it makes a click when you try and start it so we took the battery and alternator to autozone and they are ok. Put on a new starter but still nothing. The battery cables are getting hot and hot to touch. What is happening. My husband tried to get the engine to turn over but can't get the bolts off to do it. He thinks the engine is froze up. PLEASE HELP. HE HAS TO DRIVE IT TO WORK TOMORROW.

Double check battery connections make sure its cleaned/tightened. Have helper put key at crank position -Look for power at the starter solenoid small purple wire terminal power there-replace the starter. No pwer backtrack it to the transmission range switch and ignition switch.
