Hello! I have a 95 chevy cavalier with 205,000 miles. I just bought it the other day, its a manual. When we were driving at night and put the lights on we realized that the light of the dashboard doesn't work and also the windshield wipers when they start and then we shut them off instead of them stopping on the bottom, they stop at the top. I don't know anything about these cars but I was just wondering if I should check some fuses or something like that. Thank you!

Sorry for the late reply.

Check the interior lamp fuse, note the diagram. Not only check the fuse, check for voltage on the fuse circuit. That circuit goes hot when you turn on the headlamp switch. From there the voltage goes to interior dimmer. Sometimes the interior dimmer is turned low to the point, no interior or instrument lamps. So rotate that dimmer, see if it makes any difference. Go from there.

I realize this is an old post. In the future hope you don't have any vehicle issues, but, if you do, keep the site in mind. They are always working to improve the site and it's free.

Have a good day.
