When the key is turned once (aux) I get the radio and heater and all those good things, but after I turn the car over they don't work. Radio, Heater, AC. If I try turning the radio on while it's running the time will come on, but then disappear again, and the heater or A/c blow like on ultra low. I was thinking of maybe a wiring harness in the steering colum. Any thoughts will be appriatied. All fuses have been chked

On my Ford, the ignition switch moves a slide rod that goes into the actual ignition switch further down the column.
If you have this set-up in your Cavalier, you might try to see if the switch block has moved. If it is solid, make sure that the linkage is moving with the key mechanism.

At first I thought just maybe it was a fuse issue. Turns out that I turned the key to far when starting the car. So after I start the car, I move the key back just a little bit. So Answer for the issue. Replace the Ignition Switch.
