My check engine light has been on so I took it to the mechanic. He hooked it up to his machine but it couldn't pin point anything wrong. The light went off for a day and then came back on. This is the second time this has happened. Any ideas what it could be?

The computer has identified a problem within the engine management system, you need to have it rescanned to find out what's causing the light to come on.

Hey, I own the same car and was also having trouble with the check engine light so I thought I would tell you what fixed it for me. After I had the car hooked to my mechanics machine many times I finally figured out that it was my gas cap not sealing properly. That's it. Not some major problem. I just replaced the cap with a new one and no more check engine light. Myabe that's all it is for you too. Good luck and happy driving!
