2000 Chevy Cavalier Check Engine Light

Hi There,

I would like to ask a question, when I turn off my engine on my cavalier 2000, on the spedometer the "check engine light" was blinking maybe for 2 seconds. What it this means? Is that something wrong with my engine?

Take the car to any autoparts store for a free scan, look for any error codes and let us know.

Generally when you shut the engine off the check engine light should not blink.
It should display the light when you turn ign. To "on". This is simply a test to make sure the light is working.
