Hi, I have a 97 chevy cavalier, during the cold weather, my heater was just fine, then began the rainy days and my car splashed in a few puddles. Once these hot days came by and I needed to turn on my air conditioner it was NOT cooling, it no longer cools, it just stopped working. Only the fan keeps running but it never gets cool. Please help me and let me know what the problem may be. I can no longer stand to drive another 40 minute day to work only to arrive sweaty. Ugh!

Also, my drive lights flash on and off and the ac compressord does not click on.

Sounds like you worked a connection loose in the front end for your drive lights or corrision can build up on that circuit. That is the most common problem. Does the car have freon in it. You might wanna check that. The compressor with not turn on if there is no freon in the system
