Do you mean it wouldn't shift at all with the engine Off?
Please list what you replaced etc. Clutch, Pressure plate, throw out bearing (release bearing)? Is it stuck in neutral or some other gear?

Sounds like something happened during the clutch install. You will have to pull the transmission back out annd see what is keeping the clutch from engaging the fly wheel. Make sure to check all your linkages to make sure nothing is in a bind before remove the tranny again.

Good Luck
