I Just recently had alot of work performed on my car (tune up, break work, idle control, transmission, fuel injection, among other things), now when I let my car idle for about 20 seconds, the fan in the engine will turn on and the engine light will come on (Something it never did prior to the work). From that point until I turn off the car, it will hesitate at stop lights until I press on the gas then it will ride just fine. Different sources have told me that it could be the fuel filter, temp/control sensor, or even the fact that one of the mechanics messed something up while in the process of getting all of that work done. When I got a diagnosis the computer didn't pick up anything even though the light was on. Do have any suggestions on what my problem could be?

You said the fan comes on then the check engine light. Do you have a temp guage on your car or an idiot light? I would steer more towards the temp sensor going bad or maybe the connection was damaged during all the recent work done. Check your connections to the temp sensor and if no problems are found replace the sensor to see if this corrects the issue.
As fro the hesitation check and make sure no vacum lines were damaged during the work and look at all other electrical conections.
