I have a small engine coolant leak, can I add a synthetic antifreeze to seal the leaky hose or do I need to replace the hose even though it leaks very slowly

You could but you should replace it, it will eventually wear down around it since that is now a weak point and the hose will blow, where you will be at when it blows I do not know. But hopefully it wont be out in the middle of no where.
