1991 Chevy Cavalier Driving then RPM drop with no throttle

I will be driving along and try to speed up. Seems fine til 3000 RPM then lose power. RPM gauge drops til it hits idle at about 1000 RPM then sometimes regains or stalls all together. Now having trouble even getting it restarted.

You'll need to check your fuel pressure as it may be low causing this. It would be a good time to change the fuel filter as well. If not you'll need your ignitions system checked out.
