1989 Chevy Caprice starting the car

I have a new battery and alternator in my car but my car wouldn't start without a jump the other day. I haven't started it yet sense then. But when I tried the other day it made a clicking noise. Could the cold weather have effected my car starting because it was rather cold?

It sounds as if your battery isnt holding a charge. I'd try swapping out the battery with another battery and see what that does. Id bet that it starts right up. If so, you need a new battery or need to take the old one back to where you bought it.
