My car was fine until I noticed some jelly like stuff on the side of my car near the gas door. It was also in the gas door. Don't know what it was. Didn't taste like sugar, I did taste a little of it. It tatsed like some sort of chemical. By the way. I am 29 and a Lady and I am not stupid. The first thing I did was try a gas treatment. It was like it helped a little bit. Then by the next evening it was awful. It cut off on me and would not start back. I let it set for a little bit and tried again and it started but it was running rough. I thought it had a bad plug or plug wire, because the gas was burning really lean and the exhaust was coming out of my pipes white instead of the usual clear. It was only running on 5of it's 6 cylinder's but all 6 were getting the proper amount of compression. The 1st plug if you are standing in front of the car, on the right side kept fouling out. Then the next one behind that one quit, and the last plug on that side quit, but those 3 cylinders were still getting the proper compression. First I Changed the fuel filter. Then tried the coil packs, then the ignition control module. But with the new module my car idled great but when you tried to give it gas it would back fire and choke out and cut off. It would not run. Put the old one back on module and coil pack and it ran like a dog but it was driveable, didn't cut off. Then I tried new plugs and wires. No Change. Checked the injecters and the 3 on the side where my plugs were not firing but getting gas were not spraying. So, I went and bought another fuel filter and a new fuel pump because I was told that surely whatever had been put in my gas tank had ruined it, and I guess it had because I hadn;t been hearing it when you turn on the ignition and my gas hand for some reason keeps going crazy. Don't know why but it has. Sure enough someone had put some kind of chemical or oily stuff in my gas and there were little pieces of aluminum foil like gum wrapper foil all in my tank too along with some water as well. My gas actually smelled like battery acid or drano. I dabbed a little of the gas that had came out of the tank that had water in it and and dried my finger off and then stuck my tongue to my finger to see if it tasted like gas and it didn't even taste like gas, it was more like a bleach taste. Anyway, after it was all put back together and gas put back in it it was seeming like it was trying to clear up. It was running good. Then it started backfiring and vibrating again. Gas hand still going crazy, NO check engine light is on or ever came on. When I had the injectors checked I listened to them myself and they are on the same side but it was only the first 2 not working at that time. Since Then I have had an injector cleaning flush ran through the injection system and it has not changed it any at all, 2 are still not working. I had to go fill up after the injection flush so I put some octane booster in with it. That didn't help. This last time I filled up I put a fuel injector cleaner in it and it hasn't helped much either. Although there are times it's like it tries to run better than other times. I know it's not right because it used to not vibrate to the point it was shaking the seats in the car at a sitting stopped position, at a light, stop sign or parked. It never ever used to run so bad that you were vibrating and you look over at the passenger seat going down the highway doing 75 and it looks like it's going to jerk out of the car, let off the gasor giving it gas it does the same. Sometimes during exceleration though at a certain point the vibration stops while your giving it gas but let off a little and try to excellerate again instant vibration. Please Help. What else can be wrong other than injectors. I priced those and the cheapest I can find them are $94 a piece, and that's not installing them. I can't do that one myself. I can do some of the repairs but not the big stuff, unless someone shows me atleast once. Please Help. I am a Single parent with a wonderful boyfriend who treats me like a queen and does lots of other stuff for me but bless his heart, he don't know about cars. I am a country girl and I tried to learn everything I could. The more you know the better off you are. I know it seems like I am writing you a book and I am sorry. But please help me out with some answers if you can.

Thank You So Much,

Wow, do you have enemies or what? It does sound like sabotage. Clean out your tank, fuel lines, everything that fuel touches. I heard of an old trick where you can clean gunk out of your engine by draining your oil, pouring diesel fuel down your engine and letting it run out of your engine through the oil pan, its supposed to clean water and all manner of crap out. Iv'e never tried it, so I don't know how well it really works. Other than that, I don't know what else to tell you.
