I have a 1987 z28 camaro, and I just recently had the alternator, transmission, fuel pump replaced and a complete tune up, but just recently I started hearing this wineing noise comeing from the back of the car while driving down the road, and it continues to do so. I also noticed that this caused it to shut off sometimes when driveing and it does not get the power it should, I think it is the fuel pump but I just got it replaced, any ideas?

I have worked in parts for 9 years and the first thing everyone needs to know is that new doesnt mean good. You need to get the fuel pressure ratings that the pump should be reading and then check the pressure on the new pump. Also did u replace the fuel filter with the pump. I hope this helps
