Hi guys: 97 Camaro 3800 V6, 125,000 miles. Tried to start car after going into store and the radio and lights came on but no clicking or turning over. I replaced the starter already, and the power cable is hot at the starter. Wondering what I should check next.

If the cables on your battery terminals are hot that means the cables are fried, replace them and check your battery to it may have gotten damaged. Usally this is caused by a loose ground from the battery to the engine, but now that its happend u need to replace the battery cables.

Anti Theft System was bad. It wouldn't let the car start but it still had power. I had this replaced last night new keys and ignigiton switch, and now everything is running fine. Thanks for the thought though.
