1998 Chevy Camaro 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual

I have a 98 camaro 3.8 5 speed. I had left @ my parents house for a year and didnt drive it for a year. Because my mother thought the clutch went out. Turns out needed some clutch fluid. My problem is that I can pop the clutch to get it to crank up but not w/the key it tries to turn over but acts like it is not getting any gas. Then when I am driving it it bogs down and dies after a little while please help I am confused? My wife wants me to sell it but, it was the first car I ever bought new and dont want to get rid of OLE RED! I know I need to replace the water pump on her be cuase I have replaced the thermostat and its still running hot. Fan is working to cool radiator but since it been sitting up its has a really bad knocking knocking noise in it and no its not a rod I had this checked.

Check your fuel pressure, it may need a filter or the even a fuel pump. You should have at least 40p.S.I. To rund. As far as the overheating goes, get ehe car hot and shut it off then run your hand on the radiator. If you feel any cold spots on it then it needs to be fixed or replaced.
