Here is what is happening. After driving about 20 minutes the throttle acts like it is sticking at 1500 rpms for a second, and when I try to apply throttle it doesnt effect it. Then the car will kind of diesel a little bit and die. I will turn it over and start it, and sometimes when I am lucky it will drive off like normal but it takes a few times before that works. Most of the time I start it, it idles, and when I put it in drive it diesels and dies. After it gets warmed up it tends to die at red lights pretty often as well. Also the temperature gauge is working intermittently. Any clue? I have new plugs, wires, fuel and air filter. Also the oil pressure goes low when at idle and jumps up during acceleration.

Check the throttle position sensor, and the idle air control, they are both on the throttle body, the cable could be stuck too, but shouldnt cause the stalling. TPS may have a bad spot, remove the cable and move the throttle by hand, is is sticking? Gve it a try. If the SES light is on scan for codes! Autozone does it free.

Have you done a relearn on the pass-key?
GM PASS LOCK RELEARN- Ignition to "run" position, try to start and let key return to "run" position
Approx ten minutes security light will go off
Turn key "off" and wait 5 seconds
Repeat 2 more times for a total of 3 relearns.
Turn key off, then start it
Try this if the security system is the problem, next time you run into the problem, normally it will either not start or die right away when it's the passlock system, but worth a shot.

The other thing to do, since it's a GM, Check all connectors to all modules, these years seemed to have issues with loose and corroded connections.
