Engine Performance problem
1994 Chevy Camaro 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 197xxx miles

What would happen if I removed the EGR Valve and plugged the openings? I know it wouldn't pass California emissions tests, but I don't live in California anyway. The car seems to run fine, but has no low end power, you couldn't rotate the tires on gravel. I've replaced o2 sensors, plugs, wires, and map sensor. I also replaced the cat, which was plugged. Any other suggestions?

Change fuel filter, check the fuel pressure.

Change air filter

if you plug up the EGR ports the engine should run just find as long as the openings are plugged.
