How do I replace a rear view mirror on a 93 Camaro? The base piece is still attached to the windshield. THe toggling screw came loose from the mirror housing.

You should be able to slide the mirror right back onto the mount. Since its still on the windshield, it sounds like its mounted good. The mirror should slide on with ease. The only thing that really holds it securely is that little barrel screw.
