My 86 Camaro stalls when I go through a puddle. It is also hard to start and runs poorly when it is damp or raining. I replaced the cap, wires and rotor approx 4 monthe ago.
Is it possible that the O2 sensor could be a problem when it gets wet?

If it stalls when it goes through a puddle, check to see if you still have the rubber protective shields on top of the control arms. Then if it does this on rainy days stalling then check your coil for cracks and wiring from the coil to the distributor. If you have spark plug pliers, pull the coil wire and crank the engine while running the coil wire around the coil and see if the spark jumps to the side. If it dows then check there for cracks. And depending on how old yoru wires are youma decide to change them. As age and heat tend to destroy them. Also get some choke cleaner and clean the throttle plate on both sides and the area around the iac- which is an oblong hole as the iac sometimes gets clogged with gunk as well.
