I asked about my 84 Z28 overheating.I noticed the other day when I flushed the radiator that there was rust color around the intake manifold bolts. Alomst like the a little bit of fluid had seeped out of the bolts. My dad was actually able to tighten the bolts a little more than they were tightend. My heater is not working either. It's getting current however it's not working. But bear in mind the car sat in his driveway for almost a year before we replaced the motor.I asked a question about it overheating I was just curious if these other things possibly had something to do with my overheating problem. Because my dad seems to think its the clutch fan.

A bad fan clutch is noticeable at speeds under 35 mph, or idling. If it cools as you drive faster, then that is a sign of the fan clutch. Heat or blower motor not working? To see if coolant is leaking, rent or buy a radiator pressure tester and pump it up to system pressure of rating on the radiator cap, if needle drops, there is a leak and it should be visible. If there is power to the blower motor, then the motor itself is no good.
