2001 Chevy Blazer 4 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic

the car has been loseing power and black snoke is coming out of the back thing. Now it stals all the time and wants to die out the car will start up fine but its like losing power

Hi:
The black smoke indicated a rich fuel mixture. This can be caused by a few things. Has the check engine light come on? Have you had the temp sensor tested? Also, fuel pump pressire needs tested at the rail to make sure the regulator isn't forcing too much fuel into the engine. Finally, make sure the air filter is good and not plugged.
